Highly detailed game that takes place on the ocean.

You're taken back in time to the 18th century with large ships and the enemies that try to take over the ship that you operate. The details of the game are superb with the waves lapping against the bottom of the ships, the people walking around on the ship and the weapons that are used. You'll be on your boat the entire time as your enemies will try to attack you from all angles. There are maps that you have available to see where you're at in the Caribbean. You'll see everything from ports that have a bit of history tied to them as well as towns along the shore that are historical to this time period.

At times, you are given a chance to get off the ship to try to take over some of the towns, but most of the intense action takes place on the ship. With the waves and currents in the game, you will drift off course at times. This is when you need to know how to stay on track, which is where the maps come in handy. There are as many as 50 ships on the water at one time. Learn how to navigate the ship early in the game so that you don't get stuck between other ships. There are alliances that can be made, but they are easily broken once they take over land or other ships.
